The batteries are running low. If

possible, continue testing until

all the test strips in the test drum

have been used. Then replace

the batteries and the test drum.

If the battery symbol appears

briefly and the display goes blank,

the batteries are too low to perform

any more tests. Insert two new

batteries.

Blood sugar is higher than

the measuring range of the

system (600 mg/dL). See

Chapter 3, “Symptoms of

High or Low Blood Sugar.”

Blood sugar is lower than

the measuring range of the

system (10 mg/dL). See

Chapter 3, “Symptoms of

High or Low Blood Sugar.”
